About Ashley Hatton, PsyD
Experience matters. So does feeling understood.
Ashley brings 15 years of experience within the Department of Veterans Affairs to private practice, along with a warm, collaborative style that keeps the person at the center of the work.

Professional background
Fifteen years of focused clinical work.
Before entering private practice, Ashley spent 15 years working within the Department of Veterans Affairs. That experience included sustained work with adults facing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, relationship concerns, life changes, and the effects of difficult experiences that can continue long after an event has passed.
Her style is evidence-informed without being rigid. She draws from established approaches while paying close attention to each client's history, goals, relationships, strengths, and pace.
Therapy with Ashley is collaborative. The goal is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to understand patterns, build useful skills, and create room for a fuller life.
How she works
Structured when structure helps. Flexible when it does not.
Drawing from CBT, EMDR, trauma-informed care, relational therapy, and DBT-informed work.
Therapy is a collaborative process, with attention to trust, context, and what is happening in the room.
Treatment is adapted to your goals and needs rather than forcing every concern into one method.
